When you can't see yourself with them anymore, when you stop wanting to do things for them because you want to, when you look at them and think why am I with you, when everything they do aggravates you, when you dont give more of yourself to that someone. Let him go if you don't...waste of both of your times. It might just be a phase, so really ask yourself, think hard about it...I know I go through phases like this, but in the end, I cant imagine my life without him. No one is perfect, everyone has quirks, but I know he would do anything for me, and what have I done for him lately, NOTHING..I have been selfish, and well just a *****. You will figure it out...if its a relationship that you dont mind picturing your life without him or her, then just move on. Let it be the past...good luck!

Don't you mean how you will know if he has stopped loving you?
You will know when:
What you feel becomes less important to him
When you go lower and lower in their list of priorities.
When it becomes more interesting for him to spend time with people other than you - at every possible occassion.
When your happiness, anger, sadness become less important to him than any other activity.
There are many signs - and you most probably have noticed them. That is why you felt the need to ask this question.

Well, I think you know, Its in your heart and soul. But ask yourself, if there is anything you both can do to make things better before giving up. If not and you aren't happy then,,,, I would move on. You know deep down, Its just hard to act on it. good luck

When you ask questions like this on the internet. I also think when you stop caring if you are with the person or not. Like they could come in the room and you feel nothing for them. It's when your heart stops believing there is any hope for a future of your relationship.

WHEN things start to get boring!!! You have to rekindle the flame. sometimes you just have to break out the credit card and take a weekend getaway all planned out. Pack his bags and wait for him to come home from work on friday. but don't tell him, just call him at work and make sure he doesn't have anything planned. And in that weekend don't talk about the things that are bothering you, do it after you come back ...
prefferably 2 days. If you do it during the weekend you will mostly get into a fight!!! Good luck

Marriage goes through hills and valleys, times of passion,times of insolence, times of complacency. Try to jazz things up, do something new , be spontaneous. Think of the things you used to do when you first were married and try some of them again. Love hears what no other ear hears, love sees what no other eyes see, true love GIVES without questioning.

He is right. He doesn't have to do anything you say. Sometimes we become dictators, so look at yourself and decide. If you loved each other enough to marry, then you need to love each other enough to get professional counseling. Good luck.

Love is like a fire, it burns high sometimes, and low sometimes. That's why we need marriage, to get us through the times when the coals are barely there, until it flames up again.

But your husband is right, he doesn't have to do what you tell him to do. That is not part of marriage, that's seems like a mother-to-child thing. Maybe that is why he is emotionally withdrawing from you.

Stop being bossy, show him you appreciate him, and throw some fuel on your fire!

We all go through stages where we FEEL the love more or less.....both in what we receive and in what we give. Stress from work, the kids, other family responsibilities, etc. can overshadow the feelings of love at times.

But if it seems that way more often than not....and it has been that way for quite some time (say 3 or more months)....then therapy , counseling and/or a serious re evaluation is in order to get the thing corrected or addressed
