How long did it take you to get married, after you first met your husband/wife?

6 months to engagement and 6 months to marriage.

it is different for every one, less and more or more and less depends on so many other factors.

It took us 2 years...one year of dating, and one year living together. ( we have been married now for like 4yrs this july)

although, when my mother met my step father she married him a week later ( and they have been together 12 years now )

it depend on the people. you have to know when the right time is, and its not actually knowing it its more about feeling it/ if everything is perfect and it been perfect and if there are no back thought, if two people just live for one another and don't care about anything else then its time to talk about marriage. but dating and being happy is not enough. it has to feel right and it does need time. i would say at least a year. it takes time to get to know people...
