I was married and divorced. Ex husband cheated and got busted. I feel it is okay that I got remarried because I deserve to be happy.
For those who look at it from the bible stand point: the bible says there is only one reason to put away a spouse (it says wife, but whatever) and that is adultery. He committed adultery and I put him away..
You should not even be considering marrying someone who hasn't even told you how many times they have been married---if you are implying that you found out she was married before but hasn't told you yet. |

honestly, i would remarry but its going to take a long time. I have been divorced now for 7 years and have my two kids with me. My bf and I have been together for two years and i just dont have the urge to tie the knot at this time b/c my kids are young. Maybe when im older and my kids are more mature or i can actually commit to something like this again. Its a tough one. Yes i would do it again but after i know i can stick it out. If i feel any doubts at all this time, i wont do it. I think its diff't for men and women. Women who divorce like their freedom and independence. They have less responsibilities when single. Once living with a man or married, you have more work: more housework, picking up clothes, cooking, cleaning..etc...Its easier for men to want to get married b/c then they have somone who cares for them and has a social connection bc women tend to do all that stuff. So i think in general divorced women take their time before tying the knot again. |
