How many of you have parents that are married?

My parents will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this coming August. We kids better get on the ball in planning that event.

My parents are still together (62 years) Both my grand parents stayed together till they died. My husband and I have never been divorced and married 39 years. My brother and his wife have been together 25 years. None of my 10 aunts and uncles have been divorced. HOWEVER my son managed to stay married 3 years and that was a stretch. Today's people are selfish and don't know how to give and take.

My parent's divorced right after I was born. My grandparents though were married for almost 50 years until my grandfather died.

My parents were still married when my dad died a couple of years ago (aged 65) but they were so miserable they shouldn't have been together.

My parents are married, but ah, they sorta rushed into it, so it's not really much of a marriage anymore. I pity both sides of it. But I still believe in marriage. :)

My parents are still married to each other. They were married for 25 years and then divorced. They were divorced for 7 years and reconciled. It has been another 24 years on the second marriage and they are very happy. Go figure...

My parents were never married, and a good thing too because from what I heard about my dad he is not a good man. My fiance's parents are still together, but yeah, most of the people that I know, their parents are not still together and if they are they are not happy anymore.

You mean, the NEW generation can't stay married because my parents are (25 years next yr)and all my aunts and uncles still married till the day of today and i don't know that many parents not being together.

Mine will have their 33rd anniversary next month. My husband's parents are divorced. Of 6 aunts/uncles on my dad's side, they are all still married to their original spouses. Of my 7 aunts/uncles of my mom's side, 6 are still married to original spouses. I would say divorce rate of their children is about 50%, though. I would say aunts/uncle are from an older generation, though...even though I'm only 22 :O
