That is a tough question, personally I would say that it depends on whom you marry. In my case I've been married twice and my first marriage was a wonderfully happy, but painfully short. We were married July 6th 2002, unfortunately she died six months later.
Now I thought I had found a happiness with a woman, that was introduced to me by a friend, but now I do have regrets because she didn't have true loving feelings for me. Now it looks like we are headed to divorce court, she has a daughter that was a factor in the ending of this marriage. How important is it in a marriage to have romance, because I'm the romantic fool who married a cold hearted witch. At least in my first marriage she truly was the love of my life. I hope this experience won't sour me on finding that special someone. Good luck... I've heard from Dr. Phil that 4 of 10 marriages, one or both people have had some regrets in marring the person that they did. |

I regret marrying my first three ex husbands... if I knew love like I know now, I would have not made the mistakes I made. My new husband also had made mistakes 3 times. Our wedding picture says love like most do not, my new husband is the man of my dreams. |

I'm madly in love with my husband, but I know plenty of people who married just to get married and ended up with spouses that were not suited well to them.
I think it is a matter of being careful about who you say "I do" to. |

Im not sure but i do know that 40% of babies born in 2008 were out of wedlock which is a growing trend probably because of the divorce rate. |

Memorable.

most people.
A lot of people either regret getting married in general and wish they would have waited for whatever reason, some marry for security...they don't settle down they just settle, and others fall out of love |

people change a lot when you get married. You don't catch there attention, they don't like to listen, everything is more interesting than you, etc. etc. and I see that in a lot of relationships around me. So honestly I would say the majority of people regret it but at the same time just get used to living like that and the way the other person is so that's when you get all of these horrible rude old people. : ) |
