I am 40 and I have been married twice.
The first time I was 19. We split up when I was 24.
I married someone else when I was 281/2.
So I had over 3 years to heal etc.
However, I found out that ultimatly I had the same problems in my second marriage as my first marriage but I was committed no matter what. I had found that wherever you go there you are.
So because of the commitment I/we were able to work past all of the issues. Vows and remembering them helps......for better or for worse.....richer or poorer.......til death do we part....
Now 12 years later I am so glad we have stayed together things are better than ever! It has not been easy but we keep on moving forward......forgiveness....over and over again has been key.
