me and my wife was talking in bed last night and we were discussing our problems and feeling and i told her somethings that bother me,like no affection and no love showing and she told me that she has know enthusiasm to change.how should i take that?

well its sad when u come to ur spouse expecting them to care and want to change whats wrong and they dont care to change it. Thats the begining of the end. sorry. |

You absolutely follow your name...it takes a BIG MAN to actually communicate with his wife to let her know how he's feeling. You are off to a great start.
Now, if you could just step back and look at the situation from your wife's point of view. What situations is she currently dealing with (stressors)? Is she a housewife taking care of kids on a day to day basis, or is she a career woman? These tasks take A LOT of energy, and sometimes women really feel as if they are doing everything. What does she have enthusiasm for? When was the last time she showed you genuine affection and what was different from that time and now?
Simply say to her, "I was really hurt when you stated that you had no enthusiasm to change how you show your affection towards me, so I was wondering if you want to talk about why you feel that way? I've thought about it awhile, and I want to do whatever I can to make you feel comfortable enough to want to show me love without me asking you to. I love you, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to have a long fulfilling life with you."
