How to be more patient?

i love my girlfriend a lot and so does she...next year i am going to uni where she already is... i have to live in a dorm like her...we are planning to marry in future and till we are married we don't wanna have any physical relationship...i mean kissing and hugging is okay but nothing extreme...but we know that it's going to be hard for us to control ourselves since we are always going be together there....any suggestions how to get rid of bad thoughts....?

My husband and I were both virgins on our wedding night... and several nights later.
I have a religious conviction to be pure until marriage, and my husband respected that. My faith held fast. We were tempted, of course, but we never crossed the line.
When we actually did have the chance, we didn't do it right away. To be honest, we were both scared and uncertain of what to do. We'd never done it before.
I should mention that we did spend nights together, and just before our wedding night even slept in the same bed, and we never crossed the line. Maybe it was that fear, or maybe was the fact that my dad was upstairs, or maybe we just had an unusual amount of self control.
I am glad I waited until marriage. It makes our relationship deeper because we waited for each other. Also, should something have not worked out, neither one of us wanted to be spoiled for the person we did marry, if it weren't each other. (But it was.)
To combat temptation, we never got completely nude in front of each other, and we were never completely alone. There was always someone else home. You will probably have roommates. If they become close friends maybe they can help to hold you accountable.
I assure, it is well worth the wait.

Don't get yourself into a position where things can go too far.
Nothing good happens after 10 (or 11, or whatever).
Don't go to her place/you place unless other are around.
Be selective in what movies/tv you watch.

In the long run, you will be glad you waited - my wife and I are glad we waited. We dated in high school, college - got married in college.

hang out in groups. don't go to her dorm room meet her in the lobby exersize often

just remind each other how much greater it will be when you guys wait until being married thats something to be proud of
