I met this handsome from London on Sat. night (anzac day for aussie) at a night club. he spotted me on the dance floor, we got on very quickly. soon, i find out that he actualling in business contact with two of his colleagues and we live both on north shore like 100 metre away from each other.
we went to another club, danced and got a bit drunk. then he invited me to go back to his place. and with beautiful music in the background, we made L** for hours.. he is perfect!
i had to go to work so left him in the morning. we messaged each other in the afternoon..howover, i received a message at evening from him saying that he just recently splite up(Jan) with his girlfriend of 4 years, and really not ready for anything more..he told me he had never had one night stand the night before..
i felt like being played..we live like 5 mins away and i actually like him and wants to know him as think he is a nice guy..maybe i was too "warm" on message?
what should i do to reverse this situation?
i know I should have not went this far on the first night..but i was recently out of a long relationship as well..i basically dont like the feelin i have right now..i stil feel so close to him...i like to be friends..but how do i get this one work..?

i think that if you have only spent one night with him, it's probably best to try not to be hurt. the truth might actually be that he never had a one night stand before, or maybe he has. you dont know yet. so, if you want to get to know him, you need to respect his boundaries first. let him be the one to make contact, and if he does, you know that he likes you too. dont push it though, he'll let you know when he's ready. if he doesnt, chalk it up to bad luck, and move on. |
