How to know this man is right for me?

he is perfect man, everything is great...but just too self-focused sometimes and can't compromise to me. we have dated for more than one year and until recently he said he loves me, i know he means it, he took me to his friends, family..., but still, i feel sometimes i tried too hard to keep him...he is popular and keeping some special female "best friends"...i start to doubt, whether i expect too much, or he is not right for me, or every successful relationship need hard work?

if he's the one, you'll know for sure... if you have doubts about him being the right one, then most probably he's not.

If you have to ask yourself this question then he's definitely not the guy for you. Just because the guy say I love you and introduce you to his friends and family is not too significant because he can introduce many friends/girlfriends to his friends and family.

If you have doubts or don't feel like he can compromise then you've answered your own questions. Whatever your feelings are regarding this matter is probably true. Love begins with respect, trust and loving you from the inside out...and not just physcial.

Love is not jealous, selfish, malice, nagging, etc.. Love is patience, trusting, confidence in each other, respecting each other, lifting each other up spirtiually and emotionally, even temper, talking in a loving tone and more than anything Love is a gift not to be taken advantaged of.

Don't be fooled by going by your emotions only leading you to infactuation wishing that the other person was a certain way. People usually show their true colors is just that it's being overlooked when we judge by how we feel about the other person than what we actually see and hear from them.

I hear contradiction in your words. NO ONE is perfect. And obviously e/thing is NOT great. Please listen to your comments. Expect too much? You kidding? You don't expect enough.
