How to stop lusting after coworker/friend?

I know its so wrong that I am lusting and fantasizing about a married co-worker. I've known him for 3 years. We started out as small time friends that turned into a really great friendship and it feels like things are moving like a snowball. We have so much in common.. I can't even look him in the face because I like him so much. I want him so much I cry on my breaks in my car. I told him how I felt and thought it was time to chill on talking and take a break but he expresses to me that he misses talking to me.

I'm trying my hardest not to be a homewrecker. I care for him to much to break up his family. How can I stop this attraction. I know he wants me. He has told me that he likes me a lot. Sometimes I can help to know if he wants me as bad as I want him. I know it's no good for me to even wonder this, but my soul is hurting.

We are both happily married and didnt expect for this to happen. It feels like a force of nature.

What you describe sounds like an emotional affair on it's way to becoming 'more'. You're married, so why would you ask him how he feels about you? And what do you do with his answer? That's a conversation you don't really want to get into with another man. You'll be asking for trouble. Maybe it's time for you to cut your losses...Stop all contact with him and find yourself a new job...for the sake of your professional reputation as well as your family and marriage.

This happened to my sister-in-law at her job. A guy really pursued her even though he knew that she was married (to my brother!). She was very tempted, he knew all the right moves and the right things to say to a long time married and bored wife. She quit her job and got another one somewhere far away from that guy with no contact whatsoever. That's what you must do if you are serious about saving your marriage and not being a home wrecker. If he really wanted more than a casual affair with you, he would leave his wife and then pursue you. My SIL said this guy knew exactly what to say and how to get to her with his every move and look. Don't get caught up in a tawdry affair with what might be a smooth talking serial cheater.

It's not worth it I was cheated on. Do you want to ruin another person's life because you think it's greener on the other side? It's not worth it being cheated on is the worst feeling in the world you have no right to do that because you feel you have so many things in common or because you cry in your car. You need to get over it what do your vows mean to you? Think how it would feel if your partner was doing this to you. I have NO respect for someone that knows a man is married and continues to try and mess with him as well as a man that's married and is trying to mess with someone else. You don't realize how much you can hurt a whole family because you are hot in the ***.

Look..there is always lust, attraction, and chemistry out there. But, it should be up to you to not act on it. The minute you act on it, you cross your boundaries and you will ruin your marriage and many more lives. Once the thrill is gone..you will regret your decision.
