How would u deal with this situation?

Your husband, believe it or not, suffers from very low self-esteem. By judging others, he is taking the spotlight off of himself and is elevating (in his mind) his position of superiority. I don't know that you can make him stop if he doesn't perceive it to be a problem. He has to recognize what he's doing, why he's doing it, and want to correct the problem before he can change.

He is very insecure. You cannot make anyone stop anything. Was he like this before you married him?

If he was, then there is no hope. If he has become this way over the last few months or year, then I would suspect he is amplifying other people's faults to detract from his own which may be unknown to you at this time.

I find those who criticize and are judgmental tend to have the most faults outside of being critical. I even find myself being overly critical of others when I know I am doing things I should not be doing that no one else knows about. Pointing the finger at others before the finger is pointed at me sort of thing.

Your husband is what some affectionately refer to as a "know it all." He believes his opinion is worth more, is better than, and more correct than any other offered. Forget the fact that it is a legal issue, the lawyer doesn't know what he is talking about. Forget the fact that it is a science issue, the scientist has no clue. Forget the fact that it is a religious issue, the preacher is out in left field. Sound familiar?

He sounds controlling, domineering, and immature, but that is just my opinion. I'm sure you find him a little deeper than that, and as long as you can live with it, then take the good with the bad. If it bothers you a lot, as it seems, then tell him that it bothers you when he ridicules or corrects you.

Also I could suggest two other options. First, every time you have a 'discussion' with him, take a key point you know he is wrong on and research it on the Internet. Then show him he is wrong, but that is a harsh way, and won't endear him to you. The other is to wait him out, until he grows up and outgrows his bad habit. Hey, his name isn't Archie Bunker is it?

SEE how EASY that is???? EVERYONE judges other people - it is human nature and almost a necessity in life in order to protect ourselves. MOST of us just do not vocalize our opinions - your husband DOES.

NEVER try to CHANGE someone elses ways. NEVER say the words "make him" do or not do anything, because you cannot. You either need to find a way to put up with it, ignore it, compromise with him, or leave him. You are not there to change him, nor is he there to change you.

When he starts making those comments, ask him "what makes you so darn great?" Or ask him why he thinks God made him so special and everyone else so stupid. You need to ask these questions with a serious face!

People that are like that, don't even realize that they are like that. Have you ever brought it to his attention? If not, tell him about himself. Sometimes it takes someone to check us, before we become more aware of our behavior.

You can't change someone Else's behavior you can only change your reaction to someone Else's behavior. You'll have to use psychology in this situation. When he gets judgmental about someone answer him with something positive about that person. Or say, "oh really, I was just admiring the way that person did that" Or don't respond to him at all. It depends on what he's saying, but don't let it affect you and make sure that you are not held captive to his behavior. If you want to stay with him which it sounds like you do then you'll have to deal with the way he is, you can't make someone change.

Been there and doing that.....Leave him. It won't change. It didn't for my ex-husband.
