Say's he's going through mid-life crisis. Took woman he rides to work with on overnight fishing trip. He hides everything and lies about everything. Hasn't quit riding with her either. Anybody have any advice how to get some peace in your life, without any answers?

If he's hanging out with another woman, he's already cheating on you. Especially with the overnight trip. Did he try to hide it from you?
The best thing you can do is pick up another hobby and make yourself busy. Also, seek solace in your friends. |

i don't know if you can forget and forgive...especially when it is still going on. a mid life crisis is one thing - going back on your vows and throwing your life and family life away is another..especially after so long! Having a mid life crisis while married? Buy a Harley or a Miata and go fishing by yourself!
This situation put him in control. You will probably do about anything to fix it and get life back to normal - he won't, so it's his terms now.
I recommend you take control of you. Odds are, he will try to string both of you along till he figures out what he wants. As impossible as it sounds - forget him and pull yourself out of the situation. Focus on you - your wants, needs, actions outside of being his wife. You can stick to your vows and keep your integrity intact....while making yourself better and distancing yourself from the harm he is bringing to you. I'm sorry you're in this situation...more common than i like to think. Good luck. |

until he's ready to give up the other woman then there is no way for you to forgive him because he doesn't regret what he's doing and will continue to do it.

It all depends on how much U love him.
My hubby asked for a divorce last year, but we are still together. It is nerve wracking, but we are still in counseling I do not understand why they have to look at other women, but they do. And the Internet makes it so easy.
Ask him what she has that U don't. Evaluate what your relationship means to yourself. Sometimes men just flip out, and it is a true mid-life crisis. U can seek help for yourself, no matter what he does. Do not go it alone. There are plenty of women who will sympathize with you. . |

Divorce him, move on with your life and you will have peace of mind to not have that type of ball and chain around your neck anymore. Think of where it got you being married to him. |
