He lives in mss and got disabled because of an MS diagnosis. He and his 24 yo son owe me money and they don't want to pay. I feel sorry 4 him but before we both knew he was sick he acted in a very irresponsible way. and abandoned my baby (his biological son). what can i do in order to get child support from him? Thank you!

You need your son's birth certificate with your name and his father's name on it.
Disability in America is the Social Security Office, and you may receive a child for your son.
Since you're in Mexico, I really don't how it will work, but try. |

You can sue him for child support, and if he is on SSDI disability, he will probably be required to make the payments.
However, if he is on SSI disability, he can still be ordered to make child support payments, but isn't required to if he provides a statement from his doctor for the child support bureau. |

Do you have an address in the states?
I would come to the states, establish an address + bank account, file for child support and I think they may just garnish it directly out of his disability check. Have it direct deposit into your account. |
