I am not judging, just trying to get it right.

I am in your situation, to an extent...I always hate these bank holidays, as everyone runs around saying how they are going to spend it with their other half. I split with my man in February (he was married too and I hate myself but I guess I never stopped loving him).

I do have my lovely family around me though, so I know I am lucky.

After a few years you should have some local knowledge and have some ideas of how to have fun? Cinema? Alone is better, no one jabbering down your ear! Gym? Always makes me feel great.

I hope you have a job, as that can really take your mind off a break up.

You can always post on here, I find it helps when I feel down, though not ideal to "talk" to a computer all day every day!

Seriously, you shouldn't feel like you're annoying anyone when you call them. At least try. What harm can that do?

If you don't have friends to call over to watch a movie or something, then you should go out.

Go to a museum, art show, or zoo. See a movie. It can be very rough when you are first on your own again, but it can be liberating to do anything you want. Be active, because sitting at home gives you too much time to be depressed. Search online or in the newspaper to give you ideas of interesting activities.

Be strong; you will make it through this.

Im sorry to hear that, you are obviously still feeling raw so everything is going to feel emotional, im sure if my friend rang me or asked me round i wouldnt find it annoying, thats what friends are for. Is there nowhere you could go and spend a weekend with ? or someone to spend with you? if not, then email a family member or friend, just try and talk to someone. Maybe a good cry will help, its really hard when you are feeling lonely, but just be strong it will feel better. go for a walk and clear your head, go shopping, retail therapy always work treat yourself, you will make it, you will, x

Dont think like that.. look around you and realize all the amazing things you have in your life.

Go to Barnes & Noble, read a book, drink a latte while your there.

Go out to a club and just have a drink even if its by your self.

But dont stay home that will only make you think.

its time you made some friends! invite some of the neighbours over to get to know them.

or even call an old friend and suggest they come and stay for a few days, will be a mini break for them and will give you something to keep your mind off. or even go home and suprise friends and family!

i know its really hard getting used to your own company when you have been used to having someone there, but really it does get easier, i been there.
i really enjoy spending time to myself now a days, really it will get easier!

listen take yourself some where to the movie, shopping, park, spa any where but staying home. I know you must be hurting a lot presently, but don't give up on you self think positive.

i am sorry for ur pain hun :( it hurts a lot when some body is leaving you ! but try to be positive and don't forget you are strong and you can make it! When u are with somebody in a relationship u kind of get use to that and relay on him a lot.....but don't forget you are still a strong woman and you need to think about yourself first otherwise you will get hurt a lot....and when the right one comes along you will know! because this one didn't really loved you as much and he wasn't as involved as u were...that is why he let you go that easily. if you are a writer, write about it - pain makes good art. my exbf broke up with me 2 days before my birthday a few years back and i wrote a piece and its covered in teardrops - to this day it is my fav piece of writing i've ever done - the best bday present i could have given myself

be creative and find a project that you love to do and immerse yourself in it ie. redo the home so it looks nothing like what the two of you shared
