when i was pregnant with our last child he became very distant he work away for most of the pregnancy so when we were together i thought it would be special but it wasn't we became different people now were back on tract i recently found out i m pregnant and i fear his becoming the same when iv asked him his feeling on it he seems extremely happy but he behaves tho he'd rather be somewhere else and all he seems to want to do is argue with me.

okay don't stalk his personal email. that's overboard. if you married the wrong guy for you, i'm sorry. but other advice would be to see a marriage counselor or something so you two can speak about what is going on with him. maybe he does like to make you sad because pregnant women are very emotional, you know that. or he could just be scared of more responsibility. |

Secondly, your not giving enough details... you said he says he is happy, but doens't act it... so what is he doing that is so unhappy to you? |

he is not going to get the attention that he once got from you. some handle it differently than others. hopefully in time, once again you two will get back to where you were and will have a happy family. |

He's probably scared to death of having another kid because of money, responsibilities, etc and doesn't know how to express it so he's pulling away. Maybe go to counseling |

It may be that he dislikes the fact that your pregnancy is going to make you the center of attention and not him.
You know how other people make a big scene about a mommy-to-be. As he is away from home often, he may feel the times that he is at home, he deserves a lot of attention. After all he is making a lot of sacrifices by working away from home to bring home the bacon.
Resolve the issue by re-assuring him often that you love him very much, appreciate all his hard work, and that he will always be very important in your life. |
