I'm very sad and starting to feel depressed?

Poor girl... It was hard being away from my family while I was in Iraq and the love they sent me while I was there made all the difference. Just think forward to the good times you will have together when this is all over and what you can do to show your love while he is gone. Some good memories can come from this but you have to ignore the bad for a while. I know it is hard but I also believe you are strong. Good luck and God bless you!

Of course your sad. But don't look to this website for help. Hang out with a friend. Get into the real world. Take a long walk. Write. Do something other than this, it'll just make you think about it even more. Watch a funny movie.

As others have said, do stuff that makes you feel good and hang out with friends and family. Think of good times.

Send him care packages as much as you can. Look forward to phone calls. Hold onto love and happiness.

I am lucky my boyfriend is done with all that and not going back to Iraq. I would be crying too, but be excited to send him letters and other sweet things. You will miss him, but the reunion will be great!

take 2 deep breathes and all you can do is think positive and stop thinking about the future but think more about the past. Your regrets and gather what you want to say to him on the phone. Hang in there.

Please to not let sadness &/or depression take charge. Start thinking of all the ways in which you can remain in contact with him. Keep him supplied in any & all communication efforts available to you. That should occupy you strongly enough to cast off your sad thoughts. Knowing you remain positive for him, should give you the strength you will both need now. Best Wishes.....

Awww, you poor thing :( I am feeling your pain. You just need to be with friends and family right now. Keep yourself busy. Maybe try Vonage where you can speak and see him on the computer. Talk to him on the phone and try Facebook or Myspace.

It's normal to feel that way, but you'll get use to it eventually. Everything will be okay, if its not okay - then its not yet the end. Have a friend over, it can help you cheer up.

no one but urself can get u to feel better cos u miss ur bf, but its all about changing ur attitude baby,start doing something to relax u,u cant spend the whole time crying, right? it would only get worst,just try to look at things from another point of view, u knew he was going there and u accepted it,ull miss him like hell, but remember ull keep contact,i recommend u to keep ur mind active, doing something, try not to think too much about him

awe, im so sorry. i cant even imagine how difficult it is to be apart. try to think about how amazing it's going to be when he gets back, not about the fact that he's leaving. i know it's hard but you have to stay strong, for you and for him. he doesn't wanna leave you, just as much as you don't want him to leave you. remember that and remember how difficult this is for him as well. just think about good times and spending the rest of your life with him, hopefully. a year will pass and you'll be with him, possibly for the rest of your life.

stay strong cause there's nothing better you can do, you know. i know it's easy for me to say, but you have to. it's not healthy to just be depressed. he'll be back.
