I am currently married but seperated and want to restore my maiden name in florida how do I do this.?

I have been seperated from my husband for a year now and I have no further desire to keep his last name, but have not yet filed for a divorce or have the funds to do so at this time. I desperatly would like my maiden name restored. How could I do this without first getting a divorce.
Additional Details
I had already changed my last name to his legally on my ssc and everything I need to know the procedure to change it through the SSA and DMV without first getting a divorce.

If you did not change it on your social security card then it should be fairly simple. Get a name change form and file it at your local courthouse. You can probably change it on your license and bills by proving it with your birth certificate and SS card.

You can fill out the attached name change form, file it and see what happens. Basically follow the directions on the form and bring it to the courthouse http://www.flcourts.org/gen_public/family/forms_rules/982a.pdf

Once the name change is authorized they will give you a paper that you bring to the DMV and Social Security office to update all of your identity cards.
