We are together because of the financial security for both of us. We are both ok with the arrangement but I feel sad most of the time because I know he does not love me. We are older in our late 50's and neither is interested in a new relationship. What can I do to help me be happier?

This is actually extremely common these days. So much so that they've been talking about it in the media. People want to divorce but either can't, or have to continue living together because they can't afford it.
Its a tough situation, you want him to love you but realize its over....yet you're stuck living with him. I would consider counceling, not that you're sick but it will help you deal with the loss. Also, be sure to get out and experience life with friends, family....don't stay at the house and dwell. |

It makes good sense as long as you can be civil to each other. You need to gather strength from friends, the church, or some other organization and you may meet someone who could be a possible relationship. |

Get out of the house as much as you can and meet new people.
Hopefully, you can find another man who will give you the attention you need |

You need a hobby. Join a gym, take a night time college class. Learn a new language.
Just get yourself out of the house and do something, anything.
