my question yesterday of dating my 43 year old GF was great help to some, i was able to muster up the courage to take her hand in marriage. we went out to see a movie that evening, then went to have a good dinner for some asian cuisine, then i went to her house and i proposed she accepted this and was happy that i did so, to celebrate we got it on and are trying to decide what to do for the wedding
any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure if your fiance was married before, or how much she's got going on in her life. A wedding is a HUGE project, and for some women is a complete joy because they have nothing else to fill their time so effectively.
I am getting married in a year, and while I've been married before and my fiance hasn't, we decided on a small wedding in Maui with all the trimmings for us and the kids (includes a nanny!) The children will feel like a part of our union; just like children normally do- without the interference of a true honeymoon!
We will have a spring wedding in Maui and a low-key picnic summer reception in Michigan for all our family. |

I am 46 and was married July of last year. At this age I wanted a small personal wedding with a few friends and close family only. I live in Las Vegas so it was easy. I found the small wedding so much more meaningful. We had a small reception at our home then spent one night at a nice casino. Congratulations...good luck. |
