Seriously, why is this so difficult for people that are supposed to be adults? Maybe I'm from another planet but I feel that if you have problems with a marriage, you either work it out in counseling or divorce. It's sounds simple because it is.

I think it's much worse to be with someone you don't love. That's not fair to either one of you. Unfortunately, there's no way around hurting him but pain doesn't last forever. He will recover and find his own happiness one day. If a woman didn't love me, I'd prefer to know so I could move on. Ten years or fifty years would not make a difference to me.

You dont tell him and no hurt him....you are going to hurt him. You have cheated on this man and if you cant feel that and express that to your husband you deserve to be alone. First take responsibility for your actions and be honest with yourself before you talk to your husband. You might at least salvage a friendship even if the marriage is doomed.

Love is a choice and you've made yours. You should have left years ago because when he finds out you are in love with another man you will cause him great pain.

There is no way you can tell him and not hurt him. Personally I don't thing you should stay with someone if you don't love them. When I say that I mean you don't even like each other, you can't even make love to them anymore because it makes you sick. You can't stand to be around them. You could just be bored with them.
If you think you could have a better life without him than tell him why you feel that way.

there really isn't any way of telling someone u don't love them without hurting them terribly, and it hurts worse when it involves another man who u want to be with. so the best thing to do is to get out of the marriage, and don't tell him u found a new love that will make it much worse.

If you have love for him, but you are not in love with him. You need to tell him. Maybe, he feels the same way? If you decide to separate you should move on your own, and not say anything about the other person. Live on your own without seeing the person for a little while, and give yourself some breathing room. This may help you make the concrete decision that you really do not love your husband and are ready for a new chapter to take place in your life.

I would suggest marriage counseling first. You know what you want to do. You know what you need to do - if you want to leave him you have to do it now instead of breaking his heart after he finds out you've been cheating on him/cheating him out of love he deserves. If you think there could be a chance, go to counseling and stop seeing the other man. If you don't think it'll work out no matter what....you know what you need to do.
