I filed for child support but now changed my mind what If I don't show up at the court ?

He has been stepping plus I didn't put a last name for him.

when you file a motion for child support and want to change it..you appear in court and request to the judge that there has been a change and you don't want it now with your reasons, that is how court works..

Why wouldn't you want child support for your child. In some states it's mandatory that the father pay, it's your child's right to have support from both parents.

Go to court, collect the support and use it to benefit your child's life. You're going to need it, if not then put it in a trust for college or when your child reaches the age of 21.

Please dont waste the courts time and not show up. Give them the courtesy and let them know you dont want to come. There are tons of people of are serious about getting support and wait a long time.

Go. You can tell them that he is giving you XX dollars a month and if you're happy with it, the court will make a motion for it. Don't NOT go, because if he quits paying you, then it could take several months to start getting it again.
