Ok I have been with this guy for 5 years. My doc just called and told me I have an STD (thankfully a treatable one). I havent been with anyone else since him and I am having the hardest time believing that this is possible. He says he went to the doc and doesnt have anything and hasnt done anything with anyone, and tried to question me like I did something wrong?? IS it possible I could have had it for 5 years, before him? But my doc said that I didnt have it two years ago. Im so confused. We just went through this thing a couple months ago with some chick but he said she was a friend and he did to and they ended the "friendship". Hes been going to coulseling for lying and really has been improving and then this happens. I dont know what to do. I love him so much and our relationship is like perfect. I would hate to see it end over some stupidness. I even told him that if he could at least be honest with me I would consider working things out, but he wont tell me anything. And i know you dont just get an STD from sitting on a couch or something. What to do???? :(

You cannot get an std from sitting on a toilet or a couch. If you honestly were not with anyone else, then he cheated on you and is being dishonest. |

Yeah I would hate for you to end your relationship over some stupidness, like giving the person you are suppose to love an STD. Geesh that happens to everyone. |

He is nasty girl! So what if you do love him, if you were checked out before and didn't have it, then you surely couldn't have gotten it if you were monogomous except but from him. Some people don't know that they have STD's because it can lie dormant for a long time, but if you get checked out, then the doctor will definitely find it, because the STD creates what abnormal cells. Abnormal cells came from stress of having babies and also carriers of STD from an irregular pap. He didn't even have the decency to wrap it up and protect the both of you. He stuck his thing somewhere where it didn't belong and then brought the product back to you. You have to think about the fact that it could have been worse, and because he won't own up to it, you don't owe him anything, because he doesn't acknowledge it, and therefore will do it again. Counseling doesn't cure a person, it just aides in the process of helping someone to manifest curing themselves. Men are smooth talkers and will lie and lie until they convince you that maybe you are the one who is doing something wrong by accusing him. Get rid of him, and be lucky that it is curable this time. |

I agree - he is cheating on you. If it is a treatable STD, he may have gotten it treated after giving it to you... that way his test comes back clean and yours comes back as positive.
I would get out of the relationship. It obviously isn't "like perfect" since you are writing questions like this on yahoo answers.

He cheated on you and is lying about it. Sorry but if you didnt have it two years ago, havent been with anyone else and now have one, he gave it to you...
I would move on. He lied about this, he lies about more things. Who knows what he will bring home after the wedding. |
