Submit an ad to the local newspaper (where y'all got married) stating that you are looking for her (name, and any other relevant thing you can think of)... if there is no response in 2 weeks, then that is considered abandonment and then you have ever legal right to start the divorce process via a lawyer. Go to your local courthouse and get the paperwork to file. Ask them what to do about a missing spouse. It will probably just be an uncontested divorce with the papers sent to her last known address as well as her parent's address so as to make sure she receives them. The helpful people at the courthouse will either be able to answer your questions or give you low to no cost alternative people who can answer your questions. Good luck.

You got yourself in a hole there. You need to figure out a way to find her [her family or friends maybe?] and sort this all out.

you file for divorce, set a court date, and when she doesnt show the judge grants you a divorce, it takes about 30 days. people do it all the time. call the court house in your county and they can tell you the proceedure. a paralegal can draw up any papers required for a fraction of the prcie as a regular attorney

You would file a missing spouse divorce. this involves placing a notice of publication in your local newspaper. She will then be given a certain amount of time to respond, if she does not then the divorce will be granted be default. You'll need to wait any required waiting periods if ordered by your state but after that, you will be legally divorced.

Chances are at 21 years old you will find her on either myspace or facebook. Myspace just added a new "Married On Myspace" thing. Soon they will have to add a divorce app.

I think what Heather said was right. I've also heard that you have to put an ad out in the paper looking for her and if she doesn't respond in two weeks they will grant you the divorce. Go to your local courthouse and they will be able to give you all the answers you are looking for and guide you in the right direction. Good luck!

Hire a PI or someone who's good at tracking people down if you can't do it yourself. I can find almost anybody with the assistant of the internet. There are very few people who don't leave a trace of themselves somewhere, especially online. Maybe you just haven't done the research or don't know how to. Look her up on Yahoo people search. I'm even on there & I certainly didn't place myself there but it does say my name & what City I live in & there's an option to purchase a full report on me. Or use Intellius. Same thing. Search her name on myspace & facebook. Do a plain old internet search for her name. Look her up on classmates.com or create an account & try to get in touch with her old high school friends that might still be talking to her. Have you exhausted all of these options?
