My husband thinks that married people , after being married for awhile, he thinks that married people( once you know that person loves and you care about you) should not show any signs of love such as french kissing, or hugging and so on, because you already know that person care for you? What do you guys think? I think this is a lack of affection ...

I think its weird... shouldn't you want to express your love to the person you love the most?... before or after marrige, that fact never changes!

I have been married along time and have grown up children me and husband show each other all the time. Love and affection. that is what keeps a marriage going. plus trust . But he might also have someone else on the side watch your back. good luck. |

That's weird. Why is he making this up so suddenly? I would ask that. Tell him that love is: communicating, affection and many other things. Subtract any of these is like taking away an ingredient to bake a cake. You need everything the recipe calls for to make it sweet, just like a marriage. If that makes sense... |

My husband is not big on PDAs, and is not terribly affectionate at home, either. I think he just has trouble expressing himself, and of course we are all really busy, too. (No time to sit around holding hands, etc.)
Honestly, sometimes it is for the best, especially if he has been sweaty or dirty that day - maybe he just has some kind of insecurity about his physicality. Just appreciate the ways that he DOES show his love for you. |
