married of 3 years with a child. Want to know dc law if I am automaticaly owned the hause we are living with which my husband owned before our marriage. if not I want my husband to add my name to it.

I belive that my name should me in the lease because eventhough he owned the house before our mairrage, we pay the mortgage together.
I am not a Gold digger and I just want a fair share if things goes wrong

its no . now you can save some money with him rent his house and buy a new one . oh do not think about rent his house with that money pay for the another you got to participate too unless him and you made it clear you were going to be a housewife from the beginning.

Not to be mean, but you are kinda scary and I would want a pre-nup if I married you. If you leave him, he'll still have to pay child support; let the guy have his house that he bought before you came on the scene. What's up with that? I think you are leaving out a lot of the story here.
