I might have missed an interview, this may strain our marriage..?

I got a call last Wednesday from Lowes, I could have swore that the lady had told me to go to an interview on Tuesday (tomorrow), well my husband and I went to buy new clothes and everything for my job interview, I wanted to look my best because I know it is pretty hard finding a job. Well earlier I looked at the paper with all the information on it that showed where my interview was at, and I saw I wrote down THURSDAY!!! I am not sure now if I just wrote down Thursday on accident or what because when I wrote down everything I was half asleep!!! I don't know what I am going to do, I am not sure what to do!
I still want to go to talk to an HR but if it was supposed to be last Thursday then I can pretty much forget it right?! If I did miss it what should I do or say?! My husband and I were really counting on both of us having a job, and he bought me all the new clothes for the interview! If I don't get hired what do I tell my husband?

Call them in the morning and tell them you have an interview, you are just calling to ask what you need to bring, if they want a resume, and confirm what time it is at. They will tell you what time it is at tomorrow, or they will say, Ummm....I don't see so&so scheduled for an interview tomorrow....? And if you did happen to miss it, that's not good. May be best to apply somewhere else... tell your husband the truth, you royally screwed up and go look for more jobs.
But I hope it's tomorrow and you get the job!

u come there on tuesday as nothing happened and act normal, as if meeting was supposed to be on tuesday. this clerk who was calling u would think he /she screwed up. so act as nothing happened. u have nothing to lose anyway

Call up Lowe's and tell them you have a job interview with them for tomorrow and you want to make sure what time you are suppose to be at the interview. Play dumb if they say your interview was for last Thursday and tell them you wrote it down and it's for Tuesday, but you can't read what time you are suppose to be there today.

Maybe they will reschedule a new interview or they might think if you can't write down the right date for the interview then you might screw up on the job too.

It's worth a try. What have you got to lose by trying, if you already missed the interview? Maybe you will get a second chance.

If you don't get the job, you tell your husband you didn't get the job. Just because you got an interview scheduled doesn't mean that's a guarantee that you were going to get the job, even if you didn't miss the interview. Call Loew's in the morning and explain that you misunderstood the day of the interview. Ask if you can still come in on Tuesday, if the position is still available. If they say yes, that would be great. If not, then you have clothes for your next interview at another company.

It's Lowes. Just call 'em back and apologize for the "miscommunication" about the appointment time and ask if it would be possible to reschedule.
Unless this was for a regional+ management position, I don't think it will be held too far against you.

You two should really try to live off just his salary. If you work use that money to enhance your lives, pay off debt, or save for a rainy day. Then if/when children come you won't be screwed and forced into working.

If you don't get hired he should be supportive and encourage you to keep looking.

Call HR first thing in the morning (perhaps you did mis-write it, or it was this Thursday not last Thursday)

If you did miss it, I guess you request another chance and hopefully ace the interview if they'll grant you one. But yeah, realistically speaking odds are low you will land the job. So I'd keep looking in the meantime ...

Tell your husband exactly what you told us.
