You have every reason to be sad and depressed. You had a lot of losses in your life in a short period of time. There is no one on this site who has the level of professionalism that you will need to deal with this. Please get yourself to a counselor, therapist, pastor, or someone that can help you with this. It is very hard to watch someone be happy when you feel that they deserve something very different. Been there. But life has a way of "righting itself" and just because it's not happening in your time doesn't mean it won't happen. I waited years but karma was a bi*ch. :) As hard as it is to believe, happiness is a choice.

Have you thought about getting some counselling to help you deal with your grief, so you can get on with your life? You shouldn't be trying to deal with all of this by your self.

The best thing you can do is just throw yourself into other things. You will be amazed at how good you feel.
1) Volunteer at a charity
2) Take a class, even a class at Lowe's
3) Help a neighbor
4) Get active in a church
5) Take up a new hobby
6) Go to the library and check out a book and read it
7) Clean out your house or apartment.
8) Give away some of the stuff and sell some on Craigslist.
9) It's time to start dating again. Ask friends to hook you up on dates.
10) Smile. You have so much to give, take a step forward and begin your new life.

Go seek for help. Your situation is very valid to be depressed. Counseling in conjunction with anti-depressants will make you feel like living again..

Likely that you are depressed. That is a lot to go through.

But I think you are hung up on what the ex is doing. His life SEEMS like a long parade but likely it isn't. And even so, it's time that you had some fun!!!

Why is your life so sad? Are you looking to go out and meet other people? Are you trying to improve yourself by perhaps joining a gym or taking some classes? Try a martial arts class. Or something else.

Life is short. Forget about the ex and make the most of it!

Give it time. Surround yourself with friends and positive things. Make sure you have a job you like. Journal some of your thoughts. Go to counseling or a support group. Get involved with volunteering. Stay busy. Take up cooking. Pray. Most of all, remember it will heal! It will.
