I need some Advise on my Husband?!?!?!?

OK my husband has Epilepsy and some other things but anyways. He has been having some seizers today and on Saturday and well he has been sleeping allot which is normal. But he only gets up for about an hour at a time. Now my husband also has been dealing with the Flue since Saturday, and well when he got up for his hour today. He told me he was feeling really weak, tiered , irritable, sick to his stomach, and had a fever. Well I was watching TV just now and I noticed a huge wet spot show up on his Pj’s. And I want to wake him up to get him to change and get him cleaned up and what not. Thank god this happened on the couch and not on the bed. But I have never seen my husband wet himself before and I am kind of scared to wake my husband because I know he will be embarrassed and probably freak out because he also suffers from depression and he has bi-polar and PTSD and I am not sure how he will handle this and everything. Advise?

To put this in a short term, schedule an appointment with your doctor, and tell him what's been going on. Be there for him, and tell him you don't care that he wet his PJ's. Tell him you want him to go see the doctor. Reassure him that the doctor keeps things like that in confidence and that they can take care of it. Just be there for him and help him get better.
That's all you can do.

see if you can make some noise from another room and wake him up than he will realize on his own what happened and get cleaned up and he wont be embarrassed because he will think you didn't even see anything. sorry to hear about all the things wrong with your husband bad things happen to nice people, i hope this works as well. |
