my ex is no longer paying cs and I cannot afford to live apart from my fiancee anymore. I was going to file a motion to move since my ex gets visitation but I cannot wait as I have 1 week to evect my apartment due to his non payment. he no longer has a phone and he lost his home so I cannot contact him and he has skipped his last 2 visits...will I really be held in contempt? I have 2 choices, move now with my children into my new fiancees home 5 states away or be out on the streets....what do I do?

Personally, I myself would contact my lawyer or contact his lawyer with the situation. There are many options out there for you. See if maybe you can get full custody or temporary full custody to move. I would always attempt to notify his lawyer or even maybe someone in his family. |

the child support is for the child. Women shouldnt rely on child support as a check to help them out. Its bull crap to think this way. Get on your own two feet and be a woman and support yourself. Women want to say they dont need a man but when they need money they sure do need one. If you have a fiance then he must be crap too if he isnt helping you out in this time of need. Where is your family at.
He should pay his support no doubt. I hate when I hear about the child support and how its not enough. Isnt it bad enough you have the kids more then the man already and you have made each others life bad do you really need to demand everything the person paying child support.
Did he skip the visits or is that what you are saying to get sympathy.
It is not the person that pays child supports responsibility for your rent, going to the club, or any other type of crap. Child support is for the Child. You need a place to live lights to see water to do things with. So if you cant pay for those then you dont need to be a parent period.
Sounds like he is no better then you so both need to grow up. He needs to pay support and you need to support yourself |
