I don't think so. That is a tough position to be in, but try to look at it in a positive way. Its not the kids fault! So don't take it out on him/her.

I don't quite understand your question. Who has full custody? Oh, and yes they can take your tax returns for back child support. I don't know how you can owe support and not know you had a child. In order for you to owe anything it had to go to court.

So the kid's yours now and you're unsure if it came from your loins? No DNA testing? Sounds like you've had a hell good time the last couple of years. You can't stop them if indeed the child is yours and you've failed to live up to your responsibility since you've paid nothing till now changing diapers and such. You have many questions to ask...you're asking the wrong people though.

If you took a DNA test by law you owe from the time that child was born, if you were proven to be the father! If the mother was getting welfare yes! they can take back the money they gave her since that child was born! I tell all men if u know the child is yours "dont DNA" cause that makes you pay! From day 1. On the day you 1st went to court, if you would have said, " I did not know this child existed" but I know its mine, you would have had to start payments from that day understand! By you having full custody you should not be paying from the day you got custody but Uncle Sam wants his money and will get it for all that back welfare he had to pay for your child!

Call the child support place and tell them what is going on. They can get you to the right place.

Yes,You can stop them. Just show proof of custody to the k-tap office or tax system. Mess there,lol. Kids are a blessing that drive you crazy sometimes. But you sem to be a good man,so do what you've been doing and show proof of custody. Stop paying out anything than other what he/she needs while in your custody.:)
