when my husband cheated at first he showered me with gifts, after awhile he seemed to be disconnecting from the marriage, picking fights, finding fault, just being disrespectful to me in front of others. then he began going places, working out of town, having to stay the night, the usual conversations we use to have weren't there anymore, he became selfish, spent more time on his personal Hygiene than he had ever done, seemed to be angry at me all of the time, would deliberately do things to hurt me, wouldn't work on the house anymore, or make any plans, began to hang out with people he never would have before. began to say he was depressed and bored, and unhappy with his life. did things inconsistent with who he was. things seemed funny, and of course my intuition/gut feeling did warn me but life sometimes gets so busy u totally ignore the warnings. u just don't feel important to him anymore, his habits change, one time i actually thought he had a strange smell on him, but again i was in this denial, because when your not the cheating type, u don't think your mate is either, and u quickly dismiss any thought of it happening to u, its something that happens only to others. |

Sudden changes in personal hygiene, like showering more, using mouth wash etc when before maybe he wasn't so bothered. Being sneaky with phone, keeping it in his pocket when he would normally leave it out. Being defensive over the slightest thing. Going out more often. Going online a lot more. But sometimes you just know. |
