He just gets so disgusted with me just being me. I haven't changed since we married. We're expecting twins in a few months. What can I do to save my marriage? I feel so alone. My dad (he was my best friend) died a year and a half ago. My mom (the only person that still loves me) moved out of state last week to get away from my sister. She is the only sister that lives in the same city as I do and doesn't want anything to do with me because she had been neglecting her five kids to appease their supposed "father"- a 42 yr old guy that does drugs, can't keep a job, disrespects her and my mom, abuses the kids... so I threatened to call child welfare if she didn't straighten up. My entire family that doesn't see what goes on because they live out of state sided with her saying that I don't have the right. My husband throws it in my face that no one likes me and it hurts so bad. He didn't like any of my friends so I don't talk to any of them anymore. He is all I have and I don't even have him. I suffer badly with depression but have tried my best to control it for my unborn kids. I just don't know what to do. I used to be so confident and strong, but he has really broken me down.

Interesting . . . what would your husband say is the concern???? Unless you see it from HIS point of view as well as your own, there is no solution to be found.
Marriage is a reconcilliation of two egos where one sacrifices for the other and for the marriage. When that stops, the marriage ceases to be fulfilling for either and both.
You are hurting . . . you are not alone, the husband is hurting, as well. You gotta talk and come together ~ it can be through a professional or just you two. Failure to do so will result in dissolution. |

Its sounds like youve gotten into the poor me rut, try to quit looking at everything negative when you catch yourself try to think about what is positive we tend to always look at the whats wrong instead of what is right sounds like hubby maybe just fusterated as you and lashed out so let that go. Dont worry about your sis if it is really that bad someone will call on her and she will of done it all on her own. Just worry about you and yours and how exciting your having Twins! WOW! do you know how many people would just love to be you ! How lucky you are to get to experience this these babies are gonna be so much fun just think of it all the very 1st things your gonna get to see 1st steps, 1st words 1st laugh O how cut will that be, 1st smile... Wow your in for so much happiness Im excited for you! Enjoy your life with you hubby and your babies it only happens once in a life time tell your hubby how much you love him you can change your attitude and everything around you will change too its up to you.. You make you life what it is...Enjoy it! |

Why dont you ask him what went wrong? It has to be something that went wrong why he feels the way he does. I say keep strong for your babies, they are more important more than anything in this whole world. I know how you feels, but I say sit down with him and ask him whats going on and what you can do to fix it. Look fug your friend or sister or what any body wants to say, its your man, your pregnant with his kids, so you do what you can to keep your man.
