Of course not! Even if we debate I'm pretty sure you can't defend your allegations and you'll ran short of reasons. Men and women are equal and each has his/her own purpose in life, how can you say that you're not a property, too? They too can aver that you are their property too being her husband and father to your children. I think you mean delegation of duties, just be clear in imposing your household rules, so you can't be misinterpreted.

They are not property. They are your family. You should recognise them as humans with rights. Obeying orders is fine as long as it's reasonable and that they are not hindered from exercising their rights as well. Why are you so tyrannical?
