It's nice that you have friends that love you. However, because you are under 18. By law, someone has to be legally responsible for you. You only have 2 more years to go. You have 2 choices:

You can tough it out with mom. Use the two years constructively. Many people resent their parents while they are living with them, yet after they move out and are independent, they suddenly can't believe they ever had a seriouse problem with their parents. So as I see it, you can use these last two years to PLAN for your independence. For example, where will you go at eighteen years of age and how will you support yourself? Will it be college? What college? Will it be the armed forces?

Your second choice is you could move in with your dad and do the same as choice number one-plan.

Oh, there is one more choice. You could stay with mom or dad and choose to be miserable and not plan for your adult hood.

I'm really sorry that you feel depressed. This is bad. Try to deal with this by volunteering to help someone else or some other organization. I know it sounds weird. But helping others has been proven to help lift people out of depression. And maybe your mom will respect you more for it.

Your still listed as a minor, and she is responsible for you unless your handed over to the state or adopted by another family. Do you have a job, car, and the income needed to live on your own? You can try to get yourself emancipated.......

Talk to your father first, tell him what you want. See if he will agree to it. Then take your dad with you to talk to community services, they also need to know where you will be. Then talk to your mom. At your age, in the US anyway and depending on the state, you may be considered too old to go through the foster care system, especially if you have a family to go to. Make up a plan for yourself. How you will live day to day, set goals and show both of your parents that your intentions are good. Ask them to work with you to strengthen your relationship with you. Set a schedule for time with your parents and make sure your mother knows you aren't trying to cut her out of your life. But if you end up at your fathers instead, he might let you stay over at your friends house more anyway.

Sorry sweetie, you are at that tough point in life, you have no rights until you are 18, so do some positive things to occupy your time like a pt job, or extra things at school..you don't understand a lot right now bc you are becoming a young lady but when you get older you will understand. Never speak against your mother always respect her and trust me in the end you will ive a long happy life, so you have to obey her rules bc you are the child right now.
