i think as long as you don't rub the underwear off your face or something, you'll be fine.
most normal people know you are not fondling their new underwear. |

seems like ur overreacting. they arnt her underwear until after she pays for them so just take them off the hanger and scan them. not a big deal and i doubt they care either |

Don't worry about it. It is your job and there is nothing to be uncomfortable about it. Just think the other way around, maybe the woman who buys that stuff is uncomfortable when you ring up her bloomers or stuffed bra. |

As you are searching for the UPC to scan, just sort of mutter something like, "The price code is always in a different place on these items..........". That would deflect anyone (besides you) of thinking there is any touchy-feely going on........
Good Luck! |

That is so funny! Thanks for the laugh! |

You're doing your job. No one should think anything bad about it. If someone for some reason has a problem with it, ask them to go to another cashier. |

Don't be embarrassed.
Think of it this way -- it isn't the woman's underwear or whatever yet (she hasn't bought it yet) so it's just another piece of store merchandise.
No one will think you have a fetish -- you didn't bring the underwear to the check stand, they did. |

You're overreacting. I doubt that the husband thinks more of it than you're just trying to ring up the underwear. |

There shouldn't be any problem on your part nor the purchaser's part. Underwear, either men's or women's should be considered just like any piece of merchandise. Unless you show any signs of discomfort or unusual behavior, no one should mistake your actions for what they are: simply checking out the article(s) like you would other merchandise for entry on the cash register. |

Don't worry about it. If the woman was really that worried about it, she would try to find a line with female cashier in the first place. As long as you don't say anything creepy like "Wow, I'd love to come over and see these later..." you are fine. They know you are just trying to do your job. Before you start fiddling with hangers...ask "do you want the hangers?" Most women will tell you not to worry about it. |

Try thinking of them as something less intimidating, like bathing suit bottoms. Don't feel embarrased, you're just doing your job! |

You just got to get over it. No one is thinking you are some wierd fetish person unless you are also smelling it at the cash register. "mmmm, cotton..."
Really, anyone who had to ring those up will be fumbling for the stupid UPC tag to get it to scan. Just hold it at arms length and thicken your skin a little. It'll be just fine. |
|

LuvinLos

Relax and know that you are to behave as a professional. It is just under ware and you are just removing hangers and scanning the UPC code. If someone thinks that is odd, THEY are odd. : ) |

I totally understand how you feel. I often find myself in similar situations.
The upside however is, that it makes good standup material. |

Here's my advice.
JUST RELAX!!!!!
That's just your job and you don't need to be embarrased if you have to ring up that kind of stuff.
Most people don't pay attention to what your doing anyway. Just do your job in a quick but relaved manner and no one will call you a perv.
And as for the guys who might think your seeing what type of underwear his wife wears, well they're just not secure in their masculintiy. Or they're cheating on their wives and expect the same in return ;-)
Just don't worry and relax! You'll be ringing up plenty of panties at your job so get used to it.
Hope this helps,

Dude, get over it. If they are timid or shy about it, they will find a girl cashier. Just do the job, it will be fine. |

Any woman who buys her underwear at Target is probably fat and ugly. Imagine them wearing the underwear and you'll get turned off instantly. |

Its an article of clothing just like a skirt or blouse. Just skim through them and move on. Dont worry. |

its nothing to worry about because its your job to check for the price tag.its just girl stuff and you have to be man enough to do what you got to do.i really doubt the husband has any problem with that.its one thing to do your job and another to go sniffing the undies all around.and if you feel uncomfortable then you should get another worker to do these things for you |

shes probably more imbarrased to be at a male cash register so don't worry about it, me being a woman, I don't think about it1 |
