Only if they get found out and the wife kicks the husband out, otherwise affairs go on for years and years. |

If you are the one he's having the affair with than go away. Do you think you can trust him? Why R you tempting a married man anyway. |

 |
why would he wait for three years to leave his wife? |
|

Sesoid

Nope, a husband never leaves his wife, I can tell you by own experience. The best thing you can do is cry now than regret it later.
Please, take my advise, and you will save yourself a great deal of pain.
Good luck! |

If he was going to leave his wife, he would have done so within the first 6 months of having a new love, honey!
Sorry, but your'e just the side order!! |

Why would you marry anyone who would have an affair anyway??
GET A HOLD OF YOUR MAN! |

Not unless the wife kicks him out. If she is stupid enough to let him have an affair for three years, he has no plans to leave. |

You have heard the saying - have your cake and eat it!! |

Not a chance. If they leave their wives they do it straight away and just take the flack on the chin. The longer an affair lasts without the wife knowing the longer it's likely to continue in the same way. They just come up with the same old excuses about the time not being right again....and again.....and again. Meanwhile, the mistress is becoming as tedious as the wife. |

no - i have heard of affairs lasting for a long time |

No.
You need to leave him cos he will never leave you or respect you while you are giving it up to him, a married man.
If you leave him, at least he will know that you showed some morals and had some self-respect. |

Feelings of love originate in the ventral pallidum, also known as the pleasure center of the brain. The ventral pallidum is also responsible for addiction. In fact, the brain of a person in love is identical to the brain of someone who's just snorted coke.
It all comes down to a simple pleasure principle.
and atachments we make toward the other person....If he wants to leave he will, be it in 3 years or 5 years..The problem seems to be that the affair went on for a long period of time...There is a reason..That is what needs to be addressed, not whether he will leave..
Besides this is breach of trust,
if this is from the other person in the affair....Usually it has to get pretty bad for a man to lose the and leave the security of his home, for something that may or may not be permenat..Having a affair and having a life with someone is totally two different things... |

Probably not - why would they leave their wife when they are obviously having their cake and eating it! |

no even after 10 years they don't |

yes sometimes they do, but there are times when they don't. some men like having a girlfriend and a wife at the same time. hence one sweet heart and other wife.
it could go on for years once the wife doesn't finds out. as a woman I would not recommend being a sweet heart for anyone because one day you might meet someone you love, you get married only to find out the faith is played back at you. as they say what goes around comes right back around. so always put your feet in someone else shoe before thinking about becoming a sweet heart. |

if they last out 3 years without leaving the wife then it's likely they never will. i don't know who i would feel sorriest for in that instance - the betrayed wife or the pathetic mistress who's still hanging on believing he might one day choose her. very sorry state of affirs (no pun intended!!!) |

When a dog realizes it can get treats from neighbor, it would go over to get them, but it would always come back home.
The same situation applies to your husband.
Good Luck - God Bless |

I would like to give you a hope, cause I know ONE case (out of many that I know directly or indirectly) where the husband DID leave his wife (and 2 children, bye the way, whom he supports, however) for his mistress. On the other hand, I also know two people who have been living in adultery for almost 17 years!
So, it's a question of luck, of fate, whatever, there are no rules. Statistically, however, I think that husbands do not generally leave their wives for the mistress, especially if they have children, no matter how much love is involved (yes, I believe that men DO love their mistresses sometimes, despite the general opinion; if they loved their wives, they wouldn't even think of getting involved with someone else).
So, good luck and good fate! |
