Usually, but it depends on the income difference and whether the joint custody means completely equal time, or a slightly uneven split.
Where do you live? There are child support calculators for most places online. Google "child support calculator + you location" and it should come up. Then you can plug in the relevant info and it'll give you all the details. |

Too many ifs to provide you a good answer. It really depends upon how much more money the other person earns and who has the kids the majority of the time. Even in joint custody one parent will physically have the kids more than the other. Joint custody entitles you to be in on the decisions concerning the kids, not always that you have exactly 50% contact. |
