Ouragon - Papa Bear may have encountered this in women's shelters. I encountered it among the playgroup mums. I also found out that Relate was giving assertive training to separating women, but not to men. I overheard a Women's Group discussing male exclusion in employment. Male inadequacy was a favourite topic of discussion, and the remedy was invariably putting in the divorce. In my case though, I think it was her mother (teacher) and sister (social worker) who were the main source of ideas.

If he was really trying to get help I could see it being one battle after another. I would say that the judge would give custody to the mother till the father could prove himself. He would most likely still be allowed to have visits with his children. |

He's right about the tricks. I often used female spies to monitor groups and what is told women through women's shelters. Annette who wrote the following has done it often since 1990 when her mother was advised on what to do to stick it to her father.

EDIT: That must be the wrong link. It's about female perpetrated Domestic Violence.
All I can say about PA is that my ex has let my daughter go to sleepovers before she comes to me. I didn't think he was trying to alientate her from me. I talked to him about it and he stopped.
The thing that bothers me most about some of the "Father's Rights" positions and women who hate their ex's is the level of paranoia and unwillingness to cooperate that is required to sustain the hostility. All that energy would be better spent on the kids.
Also, I've been to a shelter, twice, which I'm fairly confident you haven't. No one told me how to screw my ex out of his kids. Paranoia. |
