don't ever prove your husband a cheater. It will make problem bigger. what else can happen if u proved it. hah ? it will getting confused. U can prevent him to cheat u again (if it is true) by love him more. Love is an active thing. Try to thing positive behaviour of him. Love him more. care him more. Kind to him. and I guarantee u , ur husband will thing a thousand times b4 he cheat u. But if u are fussy, try to make problem, ur family will separated. if u wise, love him more and he will love u in return. |

I am not exactly sure what an PI can do and can't do, but you could get a caller ID box and hook it up between your existing home phone and the wall jack, put something in front of it and check it weekly, once you have the numbers you are curious about then put them in with the area code, like this, 590-677-4345
Yahoo search and you should come back with something if they are listed in a directory. Good luck. |

If you have the ability to get into his cell phone account on line (I did). You can review his statements for each month usually year to date. I am in the same situation, and was able to get all the info without a detective. Go with your gut, its always right! good luck!!!! |

Well you know , YOU KNOW !!! 5 years ago my husband { Paul Heinz } cheated on me with my X - best friend when we were going through a traggie in our marriage. My husband could care less for our 3 precious children and me his ordained wife God gave him in the first place to have his WHOLE lifetime. Hey look my husband is in adultery , it is his conscience always will eat at him 24/7. There is no pillow so soft as a CLEAR conscience. A private eye can do the same things you can and no he can't get to phone records without a warrant which he can't obtain. Public records are available through your county offices. |

i'm not sure that you can go to court with this type of evidence..if it is obtained without his consent..... otherwise, if you're certain that he's cheating, adjust your plans accordingly...why do you need evidence |

If you really want to set him up, you can, but it will take brains not anger.
You will need to settle down and compose yourself. Hire a beautiful woman for the ob and plant the camera in her home. Let her do what is necessary to capture it on film and it is done. That simple. Even though, the husband would never admit, the wife should just ask the husband whether or not he is cheating. Also, a private investigator is an option, if it is feasible for the wife. |

You can buy some sort of software that tracks anybody's online activity on your computer--however, if you need solid proof, you should hire a local private investigator that can track where he goes, what he does and who he's with. |

Actually, you can by a program on the internet that will allow you to pull phone records, but a PI would also be able to follow the cheater and get pictures for you. If he has a cell phone and you look up numbers that he has dialed you can go to anywho.com and look up any number that is not a cell number. Good luck. |

I just pulled up my yahoo messenger and under contacts theres something called message archives and that will pull up previous chatting I dont know how far back it goes but maybe that will help. Do you want proof so you can leave him? cuz you can do that without the proof and like the other person responded if you feel strongly enough to consider a PI then you already have some clues that hes cheating so most probabaly is, good luck in the future |

I don't think a PI could legally pull his text message records. They could follow him around and maybe tap your home phone lines. |

Why do you need proof? If you know, you know.
Anyways: Yes, a private detective can help you. A good PI will be able to tell you how to collect the proof you need and help you collect it.
BUT - You could also help yourself.
IM messages can be saved. Check the preferences tab on Yahoo IM and set your options to save. (Messenger Tab, Preferences, Archive)
There are also programs avaiable that will store and save every web site, email sent, IM sent etc.... no matter what he does to his history etc... This program will run in the background only accessible by the person who intstalled it. It does not even show up in the program list. If you do not know it's there and know how to access it, you never know it's there. Only proble is I can't remember what the damn thing is called. |

Need Proof...
If you are looking to prove that your husband is cheating and trying to get proof, I'd suggest taking a different route. While a private detective or police agency can subpoena phone records, text messages and potentially IM's, this legally doesn't constitute him cheating.
If you're spending money on a PI, I'd suggest attempting to capture him in the act of doing something physical, rather than just communicating.
If you yourself can't handle the chit chat he's having by texting and IMing..then you need to take things into your own hands.
Money might be better spent, shutting down the text option or cell phone period. Plus some computer gurus can check the cookies on a computer to see what is sent via email.
