If you suspect, probably it is true. Think about how things are going with your relationship, and analise what has happened for him to have a lover. I went through the same thing, and found out my ex was having an affair. We tried everything, but the trust was not there anymore, so today we are separated.

You don't need to go through that humiliation, just ask him and tell him he is a liar.
