i would say are you kidding me? then show my id and feel proud that someone thinks you look younger than your normal age

i'm 34 and i get asked all the time. It's usually by people who barely look old enough to sell it too! I just laugh and take it as a compliment.

Happens to me all the time and I'm 33. My husband is 34 and it happens to him all the time too.

Keep in mind many places have a policy to check EVERYBODY. And also in some places the penalties for selling to a minor are so severe that they won't take any chances. Don't give them a hard time. They are doing their job. I used to work at a cigarette counter and some people would just get so nasty when they were asked for their ID.

HAPPENS ALL THE TIME if you dont look 21 you just get asked it a policy now-

not to worry im 28 but look 18 still -

Im 25yr and at times i get asked for ID in the cinema for over 18yr movies, there it is embarressing, i dont get asked for ID anymore into clubs but do when buying drink also, I suppose all can do is take it as compliment that i look younger for age for in yrs come

I would be happy because it means that the person is doing their job.

Most states ABC laws now require EVERY person who is buying alcohol be carded, no matter how old they look.

This has happened to me before (I'm 28 with 2 kids!!) and after I asked him if he was serious I laughed and showed him my id. The kid was younger than me!
