If your another half asked you for serious opinion?

If your another half asked you for serious opinion and you specifically told them what to do coz they kept bugging you for answer, but ended up they didn't listen to you and did the opposite. Do you think this is insulting?

Even though I know that he should be the one who made the final decision, but now he made me feel like my inputs mean nothing to him. Don't even bother to ask me to opinion next time. Am I overreacting or you would feel the same?

When someone asks for my opinion then I understand that they don't know who is best at coming up with the best answer, so, they can take in as many peoples opinion as they want. However, if they ask me for my advice (very different) they understand I am the best hope for the correct answer, even better than themselves. So, they had better follow the advice I give them. To choose to not follow it is a slap in the face. Your significant other asked you, specifically, multiple times for your input. That is advice not opinion! You need to get in his face and make sure he understands this is not acceptable! It ends or he no longer receives your input. He NEEDS to understand this in a way that does not come out as a phrase meant to be giving him options. It's this way or not at all! Put your finger in his face and get angry! You are allowed!

I donÂ´t see it insulting, he made a choice based on his knowledge for right or for wrong. DonÂ´t take it so personal. I wouldnÂ´t feel the same at all, it has happened alot of us Im sure.. Giving advise when somebody asks you shows your willingness and good heart, donÂ´t take the bad but the good of everything. He missed it..Eventually heÂ´ll learn to listen to good advises. Just say "God Bless him".

Yes, I think that you are a little. And yes, I would probably feel the same. No, it's not insulting because he cared enough about what you think to ask for your opinion up front. That in itself should say a lot. At the end of the day ask yourself if this is really worth fighting over? If you feel you need to say something, get it out of your system and move on with it.

I would not be insulted. I'd be happy that he asked for my opinion and glad that he is able to make decisions based on his own opinion and not just mine.

Like you said the final decision should be his.

why ask if he will not take the advice.you just wasted your breath.next time tell him to figure it out himself.
