I recently married a guy that I thought was the man of my dreams. However he turned out to by Satan himself. He is always really mean to me, we cant even have general conversation. He gets high and drinks alot and that's when he gets worse. I keep thinking that he will change but he hasn't. Im thinking I should just walk away from this bad situation but Im scared. Im even too scared to tell him that Im unhappy....please advise.

If you're not happy then leave. You'd be better off alone than married and unhappy to this guy. Talk to your family and ask for their help. |

Walk away from that my sister has a guy like that but she won't leave him, even after he has beaten her up plenty of times. You deserve better than that. If you are scared stay at a friends or family members house, you can even get a restraining order if it makes you feel better |

Yes, walk away. Maybe you were looking at him through "rose colored glasses" before and did not see the red flags before you married him. I am assuming he didn't just suddenly start getting high and drinking alot. Things will just get worse. You cannot change someone. |

I strongly advise you to get out of the relationship because its only going to get even worse. I was married to a man who use to abuse the two very things you are talking about. Pray to the heavenly father for guidance and to see you through your trials and tribulations. There will be a brighter day and the end of your troubles. |

I have th same prob's like that with mine n anytime that i tell him he does it to much he say's im being controlling so he is what he is and you cant change him so do what makes you happy because he won't change. |

Wow, did this just come up? Maybe or maybe not. Try to get him to counseling if he does not agree to it. Then tell him it's time to hit the road or change back to what he use too be. Sounds like there might be an addiction of some type going on. But if you care, get him into rehab quickly. |

Sounds like my cousin's exact situation. Everyone she knows tells her to leave the man. It sounds like your husband has a serious substance abuse problem with both drugs and alcohol. You should call a hotline and get some advice on coaxing him to get help before it gets way too out of control. |
