YES! This is 2007, not 1907! You have so much growing up to do! While it may seem cool to be the only girl your age with a "fiance", how cool will it be to be the only girl your age with a family and a job while everyone else gets their lives funded by their parents? Be young while you are....the real world isn't as nice as it seems....it is so much more than just playing house!

I think its a little young. Why don't you try "promise" rings instead. You buy rings and write your promise to each other like " I promise that no matter what happens while we are growing up that we will always cherish and love each other" Its not as concrete- and your parents might not lock you in your bedroom! :P

You need to concentrate on school. 14 years old is way too young to even think about getting engaged. I have a 14 yr old daughter, and the only thing she thinks about is her grades, and just getting a boyfriend. So my final answer, is not only YES TOO YOUNG, but HELL YES, TOO YOUNG.

Sweetie, 14 is way too young to be engaged. You may be in love, but please put off marriage until at least after you graduate high school. You have plenty of time to live with your love, but only a few more short years to enjoy your life as a teenager, free of the responsibilities of life. Don't ruin it.
