Well, if you get married now, and start having kids immediately, you should be divorced by the time you've had two or three. |

Hell NO!! You're still so young with lots of life to enjoy and experience before settling down. |

There is no right answer to this question. The time to get married is when you feel emotionally, financially, and commited enough to take the plunge. Feelin' ready? Go for it! |

Get married if you wish. Give your relationship time before having kids. They can change the recipe. |

If you're asking Yahoo Answers if you should get married...you shouldn't. |

Hell no, wait another ten years, then okay.
You don't know sh*t at 19. Trust me on this one. You will change as a person and grow as a woman, 10 times over before the next ten years so take your time! |

Have fun first ... get your education, go places, see things .. kids have a way of chaining you down to the house .. at least till they get older.
Choose Well . . . . |

if you two can afford all that you want then go for it ,but enjoy life a little more before you settle down and one day wish you would of waited to have lots of kids. |

How long have you been with your boyfriend? If you two have a long and very close history together, with absolutely no doubt in your mind that he is "the one", then maybe you can go ahead and get married.
As for children, I recommend you hold off on them for a few years first. Test the waters with your new marriage and make sure the two of you are first stable..both financially and emotionally. The last thing you want to do is bring a child into the relationship and learn that you and your (future) husband aren't meant to be after all. |

i think you need to wait longer bcuz ur still really young and u still have a lot to learn b4 u can even think about wat u want=P
and no offense but most people who get married that early get divorced. Sooo...even if u get married now, just dnt hav kids until u've seen that the relationship is rllyyyy working out cuz if u hav kids n divorce(i'm not saying u will divorce but just in case...) then it'll be rlly hard on them. |

If you want to give your time up for your kids.
Are you financially able to raise your kids?
I recommend getting more of lifes experiences before hand. |

Yeah, right....and I'm sure the two of you can support yourself and the children 100% right? Don't be having kids you can't financially support. Get a job and start supporting yourself for starters. |

i personally think that it is too young to be tied down to one man. You have your whole life ahead of you, why have all that responsibility at 19? I think that you ought to wait until you both have a good job and can financially afford a home, let alone children. They only get bigger and more expensive. So I say no... :) lol |

I've known a lot of people who got married at 18, 19, and even 20 or 21. In the end, divorce. At that age, you have the kids and see your friends out having fun and want to do the same. If you have kids, you have to take care of the kids because it is not a game. Watch the Baby Borrowers. |

The question can only be answered by your own self. Yes, you're very young to be having kids and even getting married is a big deal but you can only make the choice if you know that you're ready and prepared and that the father of the babie(s) will be there and that you have known him for a well enough time to know how he is and who he is. If you move in with him and see what it's like to live with him for a long time, you'll know who he really is and you'll know if this is the right age for you to get married to him and to have his children. |

In generations past it was no big deal, today?not so sure. You might want to consider getting some experience behind you so you didn't regret it later (you might by the way) family is fantastic but you will watch your friends go things you never get to do at your age. If you love him and he loves you then enjoy each other for awhile, you just got out of high school and your bank accounts are probally low so take some time...did anyone tell you how much it costs to have children today. |

No one knows that they want at 19. They THINK they know, but they don't. But, your going to do it anyway, so why ask. |

Get married if you like, but I would hold off on the kids for a couple or 5 years. You need to grow individually and as a couple first. |

If you and he both believe you're ready, and commit to eachother for the rest of your lives, you can make it work!
My parents and 2 of my sisters all got married at 19 or 20 and they are all still together and happier than ever. |

I did that. I was divorced at 21. I advised the product of that marriage to do everything she could think of before she got married, then wait til 30 for kids. She's 26, she has a degree and a graduate degree, she studied overseas, she's been to Europe 4 times, she wrote and starred in a one woman show last year and has mounted two photography exhibitions. I think she will start married life better rounded than I did. |
