Is he busy or does this sound like an excuse?

We use to talk almost every day or so. Since his business which he owns has picked up major business he hasn't been around a s much. He once said he is thinking me everyday though we rarely talk. After not talking to him for a week I wrote him and he said he said "I Miss U Baby!!!". But other day I called he didn't answer nor return my call. I dont chase him -- I just contacted him week later. He seams distant and because this happened before with past situations with me I assume he lost interest. I s he busy or is he distant? I assumed if a guy that into you he would make some time even if a 2 second I miss u. He also said way back he never disappear... he knows it would hurt me....but with guys you never know.

It does sound like an excuse.
No matter how busy someone is, they will always make time for the people who really mean a lot to them.

Words are cheap if they're not backed up by actions. "I Miss U Baby!!!" has a hollow ring to it if he's allowing an entire week to elapse without contact. Similarly "I think about you every day" doesn't seem too likely if he hasn't taken the time to make a quick call. If he really liked you, he would yearn to hear your voice, and he wouldn't let long periods elapse between contact, and he certainly wouldn't fail to return your calls.

I think he doesn't want to hurt you, so he's not expressly stating that he's severing ties, but you can see that he's certainly backing out and distancing himself. I don't think you should initiate any further contact. Leave it up to him, but steel yourself for the fact that he may not call.

by now women should know....you CANT be too busy to text someone throughout the day at least once. not returning phone calls, not texting, not interested.
its sad that men hardly ever have the balls to say it, but their actions show it well.

Yes you do, you know what going on - you may not like the answer and that's what you are battling with like so many other women getting pulled into the vortex of manipulation. Just stop communicating with him. If he is all that interested, then he will contact you. If not, you know why (he is not interested). Let it go.

Whether he is married or not, it is still manipulation for him to see how needy you are. Men need validating especially when they are insecure with themselves. Why else would he leave you hanging all of this time if he truly misses you? Answer: he doesn't miss you at all!

Sometime you have to be blunt to get the eyes opened to see what everyone else does.
