I have a male friend that I have become more social with. Recently I went to talk to him about something and we ended up hanging out for four hours listening to music, joking, etc. He was all leaning on things and acting more friendly than he usually does b/c he is shy. He borrowed some things from me and texts me in the middle of the night about them. He is stalling about returning them. Recently, he texted me almost 20x in an hour and was saying he was with his buddies but was texting me the whole time. Isnt that rude to blow off his friends and be texting me the whole time? He also seemed disappointed about something in my personal life that meant I was not technically single yet. He says many girls are after him, but says all of the are nuts and that he doesn't want them. But he keeps talking to me. Surely if he can attract all these "hot" women he would leave me alone.
Does this mean he is interested or not?
Additional Details
When I told him when my bd was he said he knew. When I discussed my line of work, he acted like he knew that too. He brings up stuff I said like a yr ago. But sometimes wont text or call for a few days then does. But always quickly respond if I do.

sounds semi-similar to the situation I'm in, except I'm coming from his side of it. If he is thinking what I'm thinking than he probably wants to talk to you as often as possible. And if you were dating or are just broken up with someone then all the talk of the girls that DO like him is probably a defense mechanism. He very well may have girls interested in him, but it definately sounds like he is more interested in you. :) |

Sounds like he's trying to impress you because he likes you. Saying he's with his friends when maybe he isn't and also saying that other girls are after him sounds to me like he likes you and wants to impress you. Good Luck! |
