it depends on why you want them to get a divorce, if its because theyre arguing or causing you to be unhappy then i dont think its bad at all. My mum and dad split up though, and now there tottally different people, and its weird adjusting to there new boyfriends/girlfriends etc. But in the end , there happier people (and i get double money i used to , bonus :P |

Not if all they do is make everyone miserable! Parents like that need to realize that two happy parents living apart is healthier for the child(ren) than 2 angry fighting parents that live together. |

Why do you think that they need to divorce. Talk to them, and explain to them what you see is going on in their relationship. Sometime when you are in a relationship and is not healthy you just don't know until someone else point it out to you.
May be there are things that you can point out for them to improve their relationship and saving them from going down that road. BUT then again, they probably want to get a divorce but only staying together for the kids??? |

I personally do not think it is bad at all I always thought that parents who stay together for the sake of the kids are wrong because kids will then be around constant fighting and they will grow up thinking that this is the way a family should be, not that a divorce one is correct but in my opinion it does less damage. I would talk to them, ask them if they at all gave it a thought that this situation is affecting you, they love you they will open up but they cannot know what you think until you tell them. |
