My only thought would be why so much, and is there an ulterior motive. An ulterior motive is the probable answer, unless that is the normal tip he gives. That waitress would certainly be grateful I would think, and certainly not ever forget him.

it's not cheating, but it's also not being very considerate of your wife too..instead of giving a stranger money why don't you use it to plan a romantic night with your wife, even if you don't buy her anything...why does this stranger deserve attention from you in any way just because she is hot? Again it's not cheating, but it is hurtful!

You are a fool with your money and you are fooling yourself . The hundred dollars should be going to your kids . If you think its right , just ask the question to your kids or even better your wife . You might have to take a sabbatical for awhile after you get the answer from them or even move out because of the dishes flying around you .

Obviously not. You would need some emotional/physical attachment to the girl in question before it could be deemed cheating.

However, the fact that you are asking this question, and the fact that you used an emotive word, "Hot" to describe the babe, gives rise to the assumption that you are either provoking a reaction that could give rise to the idea of cheating or you are thinking about cheating. Neither of which of course, is cheating, but you are treading a well worn path to marital warfare. :)

How about this: You are a refined gentleman of good taste who is merely generous to a fault when it comes to gratuities for services rendered. This way, if there is no mention of "girl", "hot", or anything else that could be used as ammunition by your spouse, you can avoid any arguments in the future. Good luck with that. :)

EDIT: Having read your extra notes, I don't see anything wrong with your behaviour. If, as a percentage of your earnings, the tips you give to people (Whether hot or not) are a reasonable reflection of your personal wealth, then in essence you are:

1) Helping others and boosting the economy in the egalitarian spirit.

2) Buying insurance for better services you may need in the future.

Of course suggestions made here about better uses for funds (Charity, your immediate family, etc) are all valid, but does not take into account the gratuities given as a ratio of your earnings and the tacit implication that you may already provide for these good causes in your own way.

Not neccessarily, but I would be pissed at my bf. I think you should rate your tip on service, food, and personality. I never tip because of the way someone looks, but a killer personality can go a long way. Then again, had it not been for my looks I wouldn't have gotten many of the tips I did.

You are aware, of course, that tipping that much simply because you find a woman attractive makes you look like a vain, egotistical womanizer, aren't you? If you're married, what would be the point of such a display that is based solely on a female's appearance?

Isn't there something in your vows about honor and respect? If it's a gesture that would bother your wife, then doing so could cause your wife to have hurt feelings or be somewhat suspicious. Be aware of that and protect your marriage.

No its not cheating but you shouldn't be thowing money around like that even if you can afford it.You have 3 kids and a wife you should be taking care of them first and if they are tooken care of, put it away somewhere for a future purpose. umm well i work as a waitress get hit on by guys and girls every day..so the most i got tiped was like $90dollars..and the guy left me his number.. so i guess not cause you did'nt leave her your number plus its just a tip and nothing will happen...
